DAYCATION
Step 1
Schedule an initial consult at our training facility, by using the link in the booking button - this is required before purchasing a package.

At the time of your consult pick-up, your trainer will advise you on scheduling your day training program!
Program Details
BlackDog only offers the first and ONLY fully reward-based board & train in the state of Delaware, and we are one of the only day-training/board & trains in the entire Mid-Atlantic region. Your dog will stay ina private room in a quiet home environment on the property of our training facility, with access to our fully fenced yard, training space, and daily work with our team of experts. This service is excellent for those looking to set fast foundations, previous clients looking to boost their overall training experience, dog parents with limitations for typical private training, helping your dog build confidence in new environments, and is a more affordable alternative to traditional “board and train” structure. Our pricing reflects the dedication and commitment of our trainers, our team-based approach, the comfortable and private training environment for your dog, and the expertise of BlackDog as a whole. Please note that we currently only up to 3 dogs into the program per day, so there may be a wait time or scheduling considerations to discuss with your trainer at time of enrollment.

PRIVATE TRAINING
Step 1:
Schedule an initial consult using the booking button - this is required before booking a package.
Consults are available in-home, at our facility, or virtually - you may select whichever option works best for your availability. Please note that consults with a history of reactivity/aggression to people, or significant fear/anxiety/stress, are strongly encouraged to be scheduled first as a virtual appointment.
Step 2:
Your trainer will provide you with a personalized training plan, and scheduling instructions to book your first package! All sessions are available to be scheduled and paid for through our convenient online scheduler.
Packages are available in-home, at our facility, or virtually. Pricing ranges from $125 - $185/hr, and is dependent on the number of sessions in your package (the more you book the more you save), as well as the environment you choose for your training (virtual lowest price, facility mid-range, in-home being the highest).

12 pack “Day Training” - Trainer works one-on-one with your dog, 2-3 times a week, and owners are present for the last session to transfer skills! Includes video and notes reporting what your trainer worked on in each session.
Step 3:
Single sessions are available once you complete a package. We encourage you to schedule these as-needed, for continued maintenance and consistency. Once you join BlackDog, we are a resource for you for life!
At any point before, during, or after your private training sessions, please take advantage of our other programs like Board and Train, Group Classes, Playgroup Program, and Daycation (coming soon)!
board & train

Your dog will live with a trainer in a quiet home environment on the property of our training facility, with access to our fully fenced yard, training space, and daily work with our team of experts. This service is excellent for those looking to set fast foundations, previous clients looking to boost their overall training experience, dog parents with limitations for typical private training, helping your dog build confidence in new environments, and much more! Our pricing reflects the dedication and commitment of our trainers, our team-based approach, the comfortable and private home environment for your dog, and the expertise of BlackDog as a whole. Please note that we currently only accept one dog into the program at a time so there may be a wait time for your enrollment.

$1700/week (includes a $250 deposit) - available in 2 week, 3 week, or 4 week stays
Mini-stay refreshers (only available to former/current BlackDog clients):
1 week - $1450
$250 deposit fee and consult waived due to existing client status
Includes pick-up lesson but does not include in-home follow ups
GROUP PROGRAMS
All group programs are available for open enrollment, meaning no consult is required prior to signing up!

Skip the dog park and doggy daycare! Bring your puppy to a safe, expert-lead playgroup for socialization with well-matched dog-friends. This isn’t your average playtime… we structure the playgroups to include adequate break times, provide guidance on how to help dogs be relaxed and neutral around each other, and teach owners about appropriate dog-dog interactions and body language.

Dogs with a bite history towards people or other animals may not be granted entry into the program. Email info@blackdogbt.com with questions.
Must be up to date on all age required vaccines (including rabies for dogs 3 months and up) - proof of vaccination required upon enrollment.
